Chet and I both ordered coffee and water. Ava got white milk.
We were looking over the menu, trying to decide what we wanted.
The waitress came back with our drinks and told us she'd be right back to take our order.
We couldn't help but laugh out loud when we saw what was now sitting between us. On the table was a little white bowl filled with half & half creamer- the name "Dean" written on each and every one. Just a little sign of hope telling us to hold out a little bit longer.
I know, I know, silly stuff.
