Weekend Countdown

We had a very productive weekend. We worked outside ALL weekend, there is so much to do out there. Chet had a big pile of dirt delivered and he was busy filling in areas of the lawn that needed to be built up and seeded. He worked even through the rain, which luckily held out till the end of the day. Don't get me wrong, there is still a ton of work left to do out there but you gotta start somewhere.

Ava and I were busy planting flowers. We successfully planted 11 pots of flowers. 6 pots of impatients for the more shaded areas and 5 pots of petunias for our full-sun deck. It was fun, Ava was a mess but she loved it. She "had work to do!" ha.

We also had a family outing to Lowe's on Friday night to pick out her paint for her new bedroom. Her color of choice is currently pink so we picked a color called "Ballerina". She is so excited for Daddy to start painting. Chet has officially coined himself an "outside manual laborer" on the weekends and a "painter" during the week.

I babysat Maddie for a few hours on Sunday, the girls had fun. They are really growing up! I did snap one pic of them while they were munching on a snack...they didn't sit still long enough for me to get a good one. Oh well.
