Contractions

I had contractions ALL NIGHT long last night!
Yesterday was a long day with ballet and the reunion, I dunno if that had something to do with it or not. Regardless, I've never had contractions quite like that before.

When I got in bed I had a few really painful ones that spanned over 10 minutes or so. It felt like I couldn't move or change positions, like I had a very bad cramp. They ultimately subsided and I fell asleep. If they would have continued at that intensity we may have been on our way to the hospital. Maybe it was just a little reminder that it's probably time to get my bag packed!

All night long I felt my stomach tighten and release, tighten and release. ALL NIGHT! I had tons of Braxton-Hicks (false labor) contractions throughout my pregnancy with Ava and throughout this one...but never all night long. In fact, I am still having them. Hmmmm. They aren't painful, just often.

I don't go to the doctor again until Thursday but I'm anxious to see if any progress has been made. Maybe the little booger is making his final descent? Houston- prepare for arrival!
Wishful thinking, I'm sure.
