(that's supposed to be a horn, btw)
DEAN SAID MAMA TODAY!!!!
I am so excited! So, so cute, I can't even stand it!
It was more like
Mmmmuummm, Mmmmmuuummm, Mmmmmmuummm...
and, he was crying when he said it...but still!
A little back story for ya. As I mentioned prior, Dean is teething.
Biting things, gnawing. Well, I decided to get him some teething biscuits.

Problem was, he kept dropping the darn thing. He would get SO PISSED! (please excuse my language, but mad just doesn't cut it here!)
He was growling and making noises that we have never heard him make. Who was this kid? I think we just taught our son how to throw a little fit. This is new around here. I admit, it was funny to watch, but kinda sad too. But, the boy was intent!
We were like sitting ducks, we watched him teethe the thing gone. He loved it! But, we were on constant biscuit patrol. God forbid he drop it into his lap. Seriously. (I should mention that it made a crazy mess too. Mental note to self, waterproof bib next round, for sure.)
Well, tonight we gave him another one. My, oh my! Same deal.
But, then out of his frustration came...
Mmmmmuummm, Mmmmuummmmm, Mmmmuuummm!
Yes, yes, he was crying. But, he just kept saying it.
Chet and I were looking at each other sideways. Ava caught on right way.
Chet said, "No, no, he's not saying Mama." But then it continued.
Mmmmuuummmm, Mmmmuuummm, Mmmmmmuuummm.
Come on folks, he was looking right at me!!!
We all laughed. Chet sighed. Ava's first word was Mama, too.
Sorry Dada!!
Anyway, I am a proud Mum!
Do do do do!!
(I just pulled out Ava's baby book and she said Mama on Sept 2, 2005. She was 5 months, 2 weeks old. Dean was 5 months, 1 week. So cute!)
